Our Client, FG Wilsons currrently have exciting permanent opportunities for Lead Operators.
The main responsibilities will include:
Reporting to the Supervisor (incl. deputising in supervisor's absence)
Updating and prioritising production schedules.
Ensuring team members adhere to supervisor's instructions
Random inspection of machined components to ensure compliance with Company quality procedures/standards.
Informing the supervisor of any departmental occurrences - inc. disciplinary matters.
Ensuring housekeeping/health & safety rules are adhered to Timely reporting of maintenance needs to the Maintenance Department Assisting the supervisor with improvements in departmental efficiency and human resource matters.
Training new employees and updating supporting documentation on a regular basis.
Applicants must be prepared to work shifts.

Salary: £9.86
The successful candidates must have completed a Time served apprenticeship or hold an NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication and or Welding. Preference will be given to those candidates with proven leadership experience
